These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the desktop application "Firescope" (the "App") provided by Morison LLC ("we"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. About the App
The App is a client tool that lets you browse and edit Cloud Firestore databases and Firebase Authentication in your own Google Cloud / Firebase projects, from your own device. The App connects directly from your device to Google / Firebase services, and we do not collect or store your data (see our Privacy Policy).
2. License
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App in accordance with these Terms. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, or modify the App without our permission. Paid-plan license keys may be used only within the scope of your subscription.
3. Your responsibilities
- The Firestore / Firebase projects and data you operate through the App are under your own management and responsibility. You must use the App only against projects for which you have appropriate access rights.
- The App can write and delete data. You are responsible for understanding the actions you perform and their effects, and for taking backups as needed.
- You must comply with the applicable terms and policies of Google and Firebase.
4. Use of Google / Firebase
When you use the App via Google Sign-In, a service account, or gcloud, your use of Google / Firebase for that connection is subject to Google's applicable terms. Information the App obtains from Google APIs is used only to operate your own projects, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the App is complete, accurate, fit for a particular purpose, or free from interruptions or errors. We are not responsible for the results of any data changes, deletions, or other operations you perform using the App.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms as needed. If we make material changes, we will note them on this page. Continuing to use the App after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
